Cottage Life: A little bit of Nostalgica
We recently took a week vacation at a cottage in the Laurentians. While we were there, I had the time to think of a few posts for the blog. I give you: the Cottage Life series :-)
Near the end of my undergraduate at the University of Ottawa, I would meet two friends for brunch every Thursday morning at the graduate restaurant on campus, Cafe Nostalgica. (Coincidentally, this is also where I met my OT hero, Rachel Thibault, when I was looking for future career advice and she nudged me towards my current profession :) Like the creature of habit that I am, I would always order the same thing - a zucchini, goat cheese and red onion omelette.
Fast forward 10 (!) years later, and it seemed like I was due for a bit of nostalgia, with a side of strawberry jam and strong coffee to help me run around the fields chasing my new memory-maker.
