Two-Ingredient Pancakes

Cue Jack Johnson- it's time for some banana pancakes (or banana omelettes as Antoine calls them, ha). But instead of pretending like it's the weekend, like in the song, it's a weekday morning and I'm hunting for ideas for breakfast (with a toddler pulling at my leg).

Pancake or omelette, either way it's a sweet way to start the day...

Luckily, I had seen this post on a Cup of Jo a few years ago and bookmarked it for future reference. Just like Cup of Jo's little ones, Bea goes c-r-a-z-y for these flapjacks.

Ok, now back to Jack Johnson and pretending like it's the weekend...

  1. Hi! There are many who hunts for ideas for breakfast especially if kids are there then cooking something interesting and yummy as well becomes a challenge. Pancakes are easy to cook and also provide flexibility to experiment with ingredients. So I too love to create it in an innovative way every time. When I want to enjoy authentic Martabak Manis that is also a lovely dessert then I go to Martabak in Singapore. It is a very thick "pancake" with the traditional filling are chocolate sprinkle, crush peanut, sesame seed, condense milk combine in one or cheese and condense milk. There is no match to the exact authentic recipe cooked by pro chefs. Thanks for sharing such an interesting post.
