When
my sister got married, instead of having guests tap their cutlery on their glasses to get them to kiss, guests had to say "cheers" in another language. My brother's girlfriend, who lives in the Netherlands, decided to teach us a different word.
"Hagelslag!," she said. "It means chocolate sprinkles."
A few months later, on another visit to Canada, she brought Hagelslag.

Milk or "Pure" Hagelslag |
As it turns out,
Hagelslag is a very popular breakfast in the Netherlands,
especially for children.

Love the easy-pour openings |
Apparently, you are meant to eat it on lightly buttered toast. Naturally, I obliged :)

Final product :-) |
Cheers to chocolate sprinkles!
