...or better known as the trip where I got away without spilling the beans. You see, I had
just learned that I was pregnant, wasn't totally ready to share the news, and was about to go on a weekend trip to Toronto with my 7-month pregnant sister and my mum. Let's see how this goes, I thought...
Friday afternoon, we all took the train into Toronto's
union station and headed straight for our hotel, the
Royal York.

Such an impressive façade |
We shopped at the
Eaton Centre, ate a Thai dinner at
Khan San Road, and had several laughs at
Second City.

Attempting an #ihavethisthingwithfloors at Khan San Road |
Saturday, we decided to check out
Queen St. West and started our day with brunch at
Rose and Sons before poking into all the nifty shops.

Pretty ladies, a cute bump, and some pretty flowers |
We also walked along
Graffiti Alley, where
Rick Mercer films his 'rants'.
In the afternoon, we got a tour of the
AGO, where I was mesmerized by
Frank Gehry's stairs.
That night, we got a little dressed up (aka I put eye makeup on) and had dinner at an Italian restaurant. My sister questioned why I didn't want to finish my wine, but didn't push the issue any further...phew!
We all headed home the next day, with my little secret still intact, and plenty of fun memories to look back on. x
